Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Syllabi Exam Prep (“Syllabi”, “we”, “us”), operated from Male', Maldives, at syllabi.mv. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Syllabi.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account is for one person; do not share your login. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or are used to abuse the service.

2. The service

Syllabi provides exam-preparation content and tools for O/A-Level students — practice questions, past papers, mock exams, analytics, a Mistake Bank, leaderboards and more. We work to keep content accurate and mapped to the national syllabus, but we do not guarantee any particular exam result. Free accounts include a limited number of questions per subject per day; removing that limit requires purchase.

3. Purchases and access

• Full access is sold two ways, both paid once and neither of which auto-renews: access to one subject for a term you choose (1, 3, 6 or 12 months), and the Exam Pass, which opens every subject for a short fixed period. Current prices and terms are shown in the app before you pay.
• Payment is made in MVR by Bank of Maldives (BML) transfer. Access is unlocked once our team confirms your transfer, usually within a few hours.
• Prices and included features may change over time; the price shown at checkout applies to that purchase.
• Refunds: the fee is non-refundable. Once payment is confirmed and access is granted, no refund is given for any reason, including if you stop using Syllabi before your term is up.
• Your access ends automatically when the term you paid for runs out, and you may lose access to the content when it does. You are responsible for using your access within that window; we are not responsible for any loss or inconvenience that results from access ending.

4. Referral credit

When a friend joins using your referral code, both of you may receive Syllabi credit as described in the app. Referral credit:

• can be used only as a discount on your own purchase within Syllabi;
• has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred;
• is not awarded for self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or other misuse. We may adjust or remove credit obtained through abuse.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: copy, resell or redistribute our content; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or use Syllabi for any unlawful purpose. Content is provided for your personal study only.

6. Content and intellectual property

Questions, notes, explanations, branding and software on Syllabi are owned by us or our contributors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation while your access is active.

7. User submissions

If you submit feedback, suggestions or report a question, you allow us to use that input to improve the service without obligation to you.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Syllabi is provided “as is”. While we strive for accuracy and uptime, we do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will guarantee any exam outcome. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the service from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using Syllabi at any time; we may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
